Mood: Wanting SW winds!
24th June 2004
Windsurfing: Poole Harbour
Wind Direction: W
Wind Stength: 20knts
Surf / Sea State: Very Choppy
Air Temperature: 20
Sea Temperature: Getting warm...
Weather: Gusty, Sunshine and showers
Max Speed:
Distance Covered:

Started off rigging the 8.0 and 6.5. Went out on the 8 and had a few runs then it got completly overpowered. Changed to the 6.5 and had a few more runs. Realised that I could be screaming around on a brand new sail, so came in and changed to the 5.75 Storm and Max2Air. My god what a combination! Easy to get going (far easier than with the old craze in the same size) and can hold it down in the most powerful gusts. Had a great few hours on the water, blasting around and drag racing with other people. made my first few carve gybes on the little board, along with a number of tacks so pretty pleased with myself! Can't wait until the next high wind day, and its time to change the 6.5 heckler to a Storm!
